This is a basic soap making class. If you have never made a cold process soap and would like to overcome the fear of making your first batch, this class is for you. Each student will make a one pound loaf of soap (4 one-inch soap bars) in the comfort of their own home. You will make your soap with me. I will be with you each step of the way. This online class will be kept small so that I can fully interact and see any potential issues. This 90 minute class will discuss lye safety, benefits of your ingredients, and hands on soap making. Recipe formulation, soap additives, and design techniques will not be discussed in this class. Soapmaking Intermediate will cover those topics.
