Facial Oils should be the last step in your night time facial care routine.  These oils act as an occlusive, "locking in" all of the actives and hydration.  It serves as a protective seal over the surface of the skin.

We have a variety of facial oils to choose from.

Mature/Sensitive

Evening Primrose: This oil is known for its restructuring and regenerative benefits on the skin.  It helps to minimize the look of deep lines

Jojoba Oil:  This oil has been known to help slow down the appearance of aging and hep to dade lines and wrinkles by increasing the skin's suppleness.  It is effective in treating conditions like acne, eczema and psoriasis.   

Chamomile Essential Oil:  Has be known to increase moisture and reduce inflammation.

Dry

Argan Oil:  High in essential fatty acids, Argan oil, has extremely hydrating effects for dry skin.  It is also easily absorbed by the skin.

Sweet Almond Oil:  This oil has been used for centuries to treat dry skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis.  It contains vitamin E, vitamin A, essential fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc.

Myrrh Essential Oil:  Soothes itchiness and reduces symptoms of eczema and other skin ailments.  It also has been known to tighten the skin, preventing further chapping, cracking, and sagging.

Oily

Jojoba Oil: This oil has been known to help slow down the appearance of aging and hep to dade lines and wrinkles by increasing the skin's suppleness.  It is effective in treating conditions like acne, eczema and psoriasis.

Grapeseed Oil:  This oil penetrates the skin quickly and does not leave your skin feeling oily.  It is high in linoleum acid which is excellent for oily skin

Neroli Essential Oil:  Along with its regenerative qualities, Neroli is also an antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-infammatory oil.  This oil is useful to treat pimples and acne.  

Scarring / Hyperpigmentation

Rosehip Oil: This oil is known to hydrate, moisturize, brighten, boost collagen formation, reduce inflammation, and reduce hyperpigmentation.  (Please note that this oil may have an orange/red tinge due to the Rosehip oil).

Pumpkin Seed Oil: This oil has been known to encourage cell turnover, which helps skin to look younger, prevent breakouts and fade scars.

Frankincense Essential Oil: This oil touts the ability to strengthen skin and improve its tone, and elasticity.  It also has anti-inflammatory which aids in issues of hyperpigmentation.

Acne

Tamanu Oil:  This oil has wonderful wound healing and skin regeneration properties  It is rich in antioxidants, which have been shown to be beneficial in the treatment of acne, as well as scarring.  

Hemp Seed Oil: This oil has the ability to moisturize skin without clogging your pores.  It helps to hydrate the skin and regulate the skin's oil production.  Believe it our not, oily skin is usually due to dehydration.  Your skin is overproducing oil to compensate, which in turn can stimulate acne.

Tea Tree Essential Oil: Using Tea Tree Essential Oil for acne is a very popular and highly effective option.  It contains antibacterial properties and offers a soothing quality.  Research even shows that "tea tree oil can be just as effective as benzoyl peroxide for the treatment acne, but with less irritating side effects."

 If you are using an over the counter product for acne that contains benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, applying this oil could render all ingredients inactive.  It is not harmful, however, you would not benefit from the treatment.
